Hair products cause hair loss

Hair care brand Wen by Chaz Dean which is endorsed by many celebrities has been causing hundreds of women’s hair to fall out and leaving them with bald patches.

Their hair has been falling out in clumps and they have been left with sores, boils and rashes on their scalp. It has also caused their hair to break and discolour. The affects have been seen as early as two weeks in to using the products.

Some women have lost up to one third of their hair to this product. It has caused the women affected to feel depressed and embarrassed to leave the house and many have had to spend a lot of money on hair extensions to cover up their bald patches.

The hair product claims to be cleansing and sulphate free and is advertised as an alternative to shampoo and conditioner.

Many of those affected have filed claims against Wen saying that the products contain a chemical that causes a chemical reaction to the hair follicles which become damaged, resulting in it falling out. They also claim the products contain many more harsh chemicals and human allergens.

If you have suffered injury to your scalp or hair loss that was not your fault you may be entitled to compensation.

Our team of specialist personal injury lawyers at Actons Injury Solicitors have years of experience dealing with hair compensation claims so you will be given the best possible advice. It is imperative that you get advice as soon as possible.
